Elder Bagley has made it to California and is enjoying being in his first area. He is in Ontario, CA and loving being in the field. He says he is enjoying tracting and meeting new people. I’m leavin’ on a Jet Plane

Yeah so… it’s hard to write a post so far in advanced meaning this won’t be as good as it usually is, unless you like this (in that case you’re weird). Basically just wanted to let you know that I am on my way to bright and sunny southern California, I also wanted to get the song “I’m leavin’ on a jet plane” stuck in your head, good luck getting rid of that one! HAHAHA

I assume that I am doing good and that I am still alive.

California San Bernardino Mission Update

So by the time this is posted I will have been in the MTC for a whole week! Cool Beans, I made it. Don’t worry mother. There is a blog for the San Bernardino mission that was set up by the mission president and his wife that I wanted to share with ya’ll. Here is the link: www.sanbmnews.blogspot.com.

They post all sorts of stuff on that blog, including baptisms, temple trips, little get together looking things, and trips to the airport to pick up new elders(me:)/sisters. Ya’ll can keep a lookout for my picture sometime next month, I would guess.

Things I hate about Facebook

Yeah Facebook used to be the most amazing thing to me, now it’s been starting really bother me. The number one thing that I hate about facebook are friend requests from people that I have never met in my entire life. You know the people I am talking about, the ones that you share about five friends with but don’t have a clue who they are, and they think they ‘know’ you, so they send you a friend request.

The second thing I hate about facebook, you ‘like’ a page and then they post status updates every couple of hours because they think you actually care. Generally their status updates are also about ten or more lines and include a picture. Please for the love STOP doing that. Nobody, and I mean Nobody is going to read the whole thing.

Third thing that I hate about Facebook, people posting the lyrics to songs. I don’t know if that is a new ‘fad’ or what but the same people are doing it about every day. Different songs each time, but still annoying.

Fourth thing that I hate about Facebook, video postings. Nothing against videos in general, but posting music videos every day. And it’s the same five people that are doing it, some of them are the same people that like to post the lyrics of songs.

Fifth thing that I hate about Facebook, App/Game requests. No I do not want to join your mafia, farm, fish tank, or any other dumb time consuming addictive crap. I was playing Farmville for awhile, about a couple of months, ya really lame and addictive. I decided to quit cold turkey, have not played that for over a year. For those of you that still play and think that it’s amazing and ‘fun’ please stop. You are making some crummy game developers very rich and happy, they do not deserve your money. Find a nice bank or credit union that can offer you some decent interest in an account.

Well folks it’s getting closer, I depart to the MTC 7 days from now. Do I have all my stuff: I think so. Am I ready to leave: sure am. Have I packed my bags: no mam, or sir. San Bernardino will receive me I believe on the 30th of August :D sweet. I already spoke in church so… yeah hard part’s over. Ya’ll can hear directly from me again in two years, unless I decide to post again within the next week, anyhow over and out…
