Fontana (Second Area)

Sunday, February 5th, 2012

Sorry I am a little slow in posting these pictures. But here are finally some pictures from Elder Bagley’s second area. Some of them might be from his first area, I know the baptism one definitely is from Ontario.

Ontario, California pictures

Monday, October 3rd, 2011
These are pictures of Elder Bagley in Ontario, CA with his companion Elder Maisey. They seem to be having fun together. And have had a few adventures together, including locking their keys in the car a few times and going hiking very early one P-day.

MTC pictures

We were just a little excited to get some pictures from our favorite missionary! Here are a few I would love to share!

First Area

Friday, September 9th, 2011

Elder Bagley has made it to California and is enjoying being in his first area.  He is in Ontario, CA and loving being in the field. He says he is enjoying tracting and meeting new people. If you would like to write to him, let me know and I will get you his address. Hopefully he will send us some pictures soon and we can add them on here. But for now he is doing great!

I’m leavin’ on a Jet Plane

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

Yeah so… it’s hard to write a post so far in advanced meaning this won’t be as good as it usually is, unless you like this (in that case you’re weird). Basically just wanted to let you know that I am on my way to bright and sunny southern California, I also wanted to get the song “I’m leavin’ on a jet plane” stuck in your head, good luck getting rid of that one! HAHAHA

I assume that I am doing good and that I am still alive.

Later,

Elder Bagley

California San Bernardino Mission Update

Wednesday, August 17th, 2011

So by the time this is posted I will have been in the MTC for a whole week! Cool Beans, I made it. Don’t worry mother. There is a blog for the San Bernardino mission that was set up by the mission president and his wife that I wanted to share with ya’ll. Here is the link: www.sanbmnews.blogspot.com.

They post all sorts of stuff on that blog, including baptisms, temple trips, little get together looking things, and trips to the airport to pick up new elders(me:)/sisters. Ya’ll can keep a lookout for my picture sometime next month, I would guess.

One week left

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

Well folks it’s getting closer, I depart to the MTC 7 days from now. Do I have all my stuff: I think so. Am I ready to leave: sure am. Have I packed my bags: no mam, or sir. San Bernardino will receive me I believe on the 30th of August :D sweet. I already spoke in church so… yeah hard part’s over. Ya’ll can hear directly from me again in two years, unless I decide to post again within the next week, anyhow over and out…

Getting Closer

Monday, June 27th, 2011

I’m not counting or anything; but, if you are interested in how much time is left until I leave it is : 6 weeks and 2 days. So a little over a month. Yes, I am excited. No, I am not scared (yet). We have been gathering up items on my list of things I will need and are getting closer to the end of it. There are some items that cannot be checked off until I am packed though. I did get me a mountain bike, a bike lock and front and rear bike lights, because I do not want to be hit by a car! – That reminds me I still need to get a helmet (It’s the law). Oh one more thing, mission prep classes mandated by the stake start this week, twice a week 7 am on Sunday’s and 8 pm on Thursday’s.

About a week ago I saw my Cardiologist for the last time before my mission (fingers crossed). All systems go from that department, except for getting an appointment with a cardiologist in Loma Linda, or something like that, which is actually out of the mission but that is okay.

The Bishop has provided me with a topic for my ‘non-farewell’ talk and has reserved the 31st of July for me to speak.

California San Bernardino Mission

Tuesday, May 10th, 2011

Welcome to post 1 of my LDS mission! I received the call quite awhile ago but have not had the chance to post anything until today. I will be serving in the California San Bernardino Mission for two years, I report to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) on August 10th. I will be speaking English; however, this is subject to change depending on the needs of the mission – seeing how it’s southern California I will most likely be speaking Spanglish (wow, that’s actually a word).

California FlagThere is a huge list of stuff we still need to take care of, I will need a bike and have been looking at my options. For the most part I will be wearing short sleeve dress shirts, yay! Another great thing about serving there will be the warm to slightly chilly winter, instead of cold to severe freezing in Utah. I look forward to coming home and making you all jealous with my awesome farmers tan!
